3. Essential Cookies — Cannot Be Disabled

The Clerk authentication cookies are strictly necessary for the application to function. Without them, you cannot authenticate, and no features of the application will be accessible. These cookies do not require your consent under most privacy regulations because they are technically essential to provide the service you have requested.

If you block or delete these cookies through your browser settings, you will be logged out and unable to use the application.

4. Analytics Cookies — Can Be Opted Out

PostHog analytics cookies help us understand how the application is used so we can improve it. These cookies do not collect personally identifiable information or any of your financial data.

You can opt out of PostHog analytics by:

  • Blocking third-party cookies in your browser settings
  • Using a browser extension such as uBlock Origin
  • Enabling the Do Not Track browser setting (PostHog respects this signal)

AusBudget Pro does not use advertising, retargeting, or social media tracking cookies of any kind. No data is shared with advertising networks.
